
(MASON TOWNSHIP) – A two vehicle crash in Southwest Michigan sent one person to the hospital.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the intersection of Cassopolis Road and Mason Street in Mason Township at 1:13 PM Saturday.
The investigation determined that 47 year old Jaime Anway of Wayne, Michigan was traveling east on Mason Street, and failed to stop at the intersection of Cassopolis Road. Anway struck a southbound vehicle driven by 77 year old Martha Lee of Cassopolis, forcing it off the road.
Lee was taken to Elkhart General Hospital to be treated for her injuries. Anway and his passenger, 47 year old Sara Anway were not injured. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts.
The Porter Township Fire And Ambulance assisted at the scene.
