(WAYNE TOWNSHIP) – A Buchanan woman was injured in a one vehicle crash.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called out at 1:35 Wednesday morning for a personal injury crash in Wayne Township. Deputies say 28 year old Ashley Smith was traveling east on Marcellus Highway when she tried to avoid a tree in the road. Smith hit the tree, lost control of her vehicle and struck another tree.
Smith had minor injuries and was taken to Niles Hospital to be treated. She was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the incident.
