(FABIUS TOWNSHIP) – Michigan State Police have identified the Constantine man killed in a two vehicle crash.
Investigators say 66 year old Charles Holleman died in a head on crash that happened February 2 on U.S. 131 near M-60 in Fabius Township.
Troopers determined that Holleman was driving an SUV south on U.S. 131 when he crossed the centerline, going into the northbound lanes. A semi was heading north. The driver, a 60 year old Indiana man, told troopers he attempted to avoid hitting the SUV, but was unable to do so.
Holleman was pronounced dead at the scene along with two dogs that were riding with him. He was wearing his seatbelt. The semi driver was not injured and was also wearing his seatbelt.
