(ANGOLA) – For the second straight year, and the third time in the last five years, the Trine softball team will play in an NCAA Super Regional, after hosting and winning a Division III Regional Championship with a 4-1 victory over Wartburg College. Ellie Trine and Debbie Hill each had 2 RBI for the Lady Thunder. Alexis Michon got the win, going 7 innings and giving up 3 hits and 1 run with 4 strikeouts. Trine improves to 38-4 on the season and will take on Concordia University Wisconsin this Friday.
