(BRONSON) – Cold temperatures are forecast for the area over the next few days.
Because of that, the City of Bronson has issued a “Run Water Advisory” for City water customers. They are asking customers to begin running a small stream of water from a faucet in your home or business. The stream should be approximately ¼ inch in diameter, which is about the size of a pencil. The bathtub is a good place to do this as it is less likely to be turned off.
Bronson City Manager Brandon Mersman says running a small stream of water is intended to help prevent the water service from freezing. This “Run Water Advisory” for Bronson City water customers will be in effect until February 4, but is subject to change based on the weather forecast.
Mersman says billing adjustments will be made on a case-by-case basis and will be based on previous water usage history. If you have any questions, please contact the Bronson City Office at 517-369-7334 during normal business hours, which are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday.
