If you are looking for a place to have a Thanksgiving Dinner, there are several opportunities around the area.
tonight you can stop by the Burr Oak Missionary Church for their Thanksgiving Community Dinner. The church is at 327 North 3rds Street and dinner will start being served at 6 PM.
On Thanksgiving Day, Dawn’s Cafe in Colon will be serving a Thanksgiving Dinner from 12 PM until 3 PM, by donations only. You can eat at the restaurant, located at 105 East State Street, or you can carry out.
The Sturgis American Legion Post #73 will also be serving a free Thanksgiving meal, starting at 12 PM. The dinner will have turkey, ham and all the fixings. The Sturgis American Legion is located at 500 West Chicago Road.
In Branch County, The Coach Eby Youth and Family Center at 89 West Chicago in Coldwater will host a Thanksgiving Feast from 12 PM until 2:00 PM. Donations will be accepted and carryout is available.
The Coldwater American Legion Post #52 will be hosting a free community Thanksgiving dinner. Members of the Coldwater American Legion, along with the American Legion Auxiliary and The Sons of the American Legion will serve the dinner starting at 3 PM. Turkey and ham are going to be provided and visitors are asked to bring a dish to past. The American Legion Post is located at 84 West Chicago Road.
