(STURGIS) – Some members of the Sturgis Electric Department are heading south to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian.
Sturgis Electric Department Supervisor Chris McArthur shared with the City Commission Wednesday night that the two linemen were on their way to Florida to give mutual aid. LINKC.
The Commissioners applauded McArthur for sending the linemen down to help.
Sturgis Mayor Jeff Mullins says with the help Sturgis and St. Joseph County received following the storm that hit in August 2021, it’s good to go out and help others in their time of need.
