
(ANGOLA) – The 2022 golf season is continuing for the Fremont girls golf team, after the Lady Eagles finished second at their Sectional meet, hosted by Angola at Zollner Golf Course. Fremont shot 377 on the day. F.W. Bishop Dwenger was Sectional Champion with a score of 348 and also qualify for the Regional, as does F.W. Snider, who finished third with a score of 378, winning a tie-breaker with DeKalb. Angola was eighth (450) on the day. Fremont was led by Kenadee Porath with a score of 84 and Khloe Glendening who shot an 87. DeKalb’s Lillie Cone and Sophie Pfister qualified as individuals for the Regional, with scores of 80 and 92 respectively.
