(BETHEL TOWNSHIP) – A report of shots being fired in central Branch County is being looked into by authorities.
Michigan State Police troopers were sent to the area of Central Road near Butcher Road in Bethel Township at 9:45 Tuesday night. When they arrived, officers found a group of men who said they were training dogs for raccoon hunting when an unknown man confronted them.
The group said the unknown man began shooting a shotgun into the air and then left the area on a side by side.
