(STURGIS) – Sturgis Public Schools has their budget for the 2022-2023 school year.
The Sturgis Board of Education held a public hearing Monday afternoon to review the proposed budget. Finance Director Ray Sterling goes over the proposed revenues and expenditures for the Board. LINKC.
Sterling was asked why there is such a big change in the fund balance from years past. LINKD.
Sterling went over other funds in the budget showing what the projected revenues and expenditures would be as well.
After the public hearing, the Board of Education started their special meeting and unanimously approved the budget for the upcoming school year.
