(UNDATED) – Michigan State Police are investigating counterfeit money given at a Branch County yard sale.
Troopers were called to a residence on South Fremont Road near Lester Road where a fraudulent $50 was given to the individuals holding the yard sale.
The suspects are described as a short white male with short black hair, and a tall heavy-set female with black hair. The suspects were driving a dark blue pickup truck.
The items purchased with the fraudulent bill were a Wahl electric hair razor, a blue sundress with elephants designed on it, and an Axe shampoo, conditioner, body wash combo kit.
