(STURGIS) - The Sturgis Kiwanis Club recently honored the Sturgis High School Key Club January Students of the Month.

Lexi Romero is a freshman who has participated in nearly every Key Club event so far in the 2021-2022 school year.

Daneli Romero is also a freshmen who has led by example helping at almost all events to date this year.

Tina Tran is a senior and the President of Sturgis High School’s Key Club. She’s gone above and beyond to lead the club by communicating with several event coordinators to gain hours for the club to utilize.

Jacqueline Correa is also a member of the senior class. She has played a key role in maintaining attendance numbers at each event the club participates in.

The students were invited to a recent Kiwanis luncheon where they were given a certificate in recognition of their service to Key Club.

Key Club is a student run club at Sturgis High School that is sponsored by the Sturgis Noon Kiwanis Club. The Key Club teacher/advisor is Amber Meert.
