(NAPPANEE) – An arrest has been made in connection with several barn fires that have happened around Elkhart County.
Captain Michael Culp of the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says following a lengthy investigation, deputies arrested 41 year old Joseph D. Hershberger of Nappanee. He was taken into custody on a preliminary charge of Arson, which is a level 4 felony in Indiana. A request for formal charges has been submitted.
The matter remains under investigation.
