(UNDATED) – A Vicksburg, Michigan man was injured in a one vehicle accident in northern Indiana.
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office, 26 year old Levi Sparks was driving west on County Road 8, east of Mark Drive at 5:20 PM Saturday. Sparks failed to negotiate a curve in the road, and went off the road, striking several trees.
Sparks was taken to Elkhart General Hospital to be treated for hip pain and facial lacerations.
Charges of operating while intoxicated have been forwarded to the Elkhart County Prosecutor for review. Deputies cited Sparks for driving too fast for conditions, no insurance and no valid operators license.
