
(LAGRANGE) – An Auburn man is behind bars following an incident southeast of LaGrange.
The LaGrange County Sheriff's Office says deputies were sent to the area of 5940 South and 550 East regarding a man who was being disorderly and appeared to be on drugs.
Deputies arrived and witnesses said the suspect took a row boat and started rowing southwest across Adams Lake. Officers set up a perimeter on the south side of the lake and took the suspect, identified as 32 year old Kenneth Bolen of Auburn, into custody when he came on shore.
Bolen is charged with resisting law enforcement, theft and domestic disturbance.
