(COLDWATER) – The season came to an end for the Sturgis boys golf team at the Division 2 Regional hosted by Coldwater. The Trojans shot 353 and finishes 7tha on the day. Marshall was fourth with a score of 335. Vicksburg and Coldwater tied for 8th, each shooting 355. Edwardsburg came in 15th with a score of 377 while Three Rivers was 18th with a score of 403. Sturgis was led by Hayden Goodman with a round of 81, just missing the cut to advance as an individual to the State Finals. Three Rivers' Garron Gahan had the low round for the Wildcats with a score of 96. Gull Lake (321), St. Joseph (332) and Stevensville-Lakeshore (333) finished first, second and third, respectively and will move on the Division 2 State Finals. Qualifying for the Finals as individuals were Collin McClain and Harrison Chapman both of Marshall with rounds of 73 and 74 respectively, and Coldwater's Jett Galloway who shot an 80.
