(CENTREVILLE) – Another area student has signed to play basketball for Glen Oaks Community College. Head men's coach David Victor says his program has signed Darrion Gatson of Cassopolis High School to play for the Vikings, starting with the 2020-21 season. Gatson, a 6'1 guard, averaged 21.8 points per game to go along with 4.5 rebounds per game for the Rangers this past season. He hit 81 3-pointers in his senior year, and scored 51 points in an 80-34 win over Bangor in February. Victor says Darrion does so many things well, and may be the most athletic guy on the team. Victor says Gatson has a great work ethic and they can't wait to get him on campus and start working with him.
