 
            
(BRONSON) – No injuries were reported in a Bronson Township house fire Tuesday night.
Bronson Fire Chief Scott Wilber says his department was called to 1224 West Chicago Road just before 11 PM.  Firefighters arrived and found smoke coming out of the one story house.  They entered the dwelling and found a fire in the living room, which they quickly put out.
Two occupants of the house were able to get out safely.  The said they had been asleep when their dog woke them up.  They exited the house through the bedroom window.
Wilber says his department was on scene for approximately two hours.
Damage estimates stand at $25,000 to the structure and $10,000 to the contents.  The Bronson Police Department and Life Care Ambulance assisted at the scene.
