No. 9 Mendon falls to No. 6 Fowler 51-32 in girls D-4 Quarterfinals
(GOBLES) – The season came to an for the Mendon girls basketball as the No. 9 Lady Hornets fell to No. 6 Fowler 51-32 in their quarterfinal game at Gobles High School. Fowler came out hot from behind the 3 points line to build a big lead and never looked back. Mekennah Mullin lead Mendon with 12 points and 3 rebounds on the night. LINKC. Brielle Bailey added 7 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals while Brianna Heitkamp had 5 points and 3 assists. Mendon ends their season with a record of 23-4. Fowler will take on No.1 Ishpeming in a semifinal game, after Ishpeming beat St. Ignance 65-45 in their quarterfinal game.
