Westview girls fall to Churubusco 42-35
(CHURUBUSCO) – Down by 16 after three quarters, the Westview girls basketball team found their scoring touch in the final stanza, but fell to host Churubusco 42-35 in an NECC match up. Bre Cory led the Lady Warriors with 14 points. Karis Weinberg added 8 points while Hope Bortner had 7 points. Churubusco was led by Bridget Timbrook who had a game high 15 points. Westview is now 0-9 overall and 0-3 in the NECC. Churubusco improves to 3-6 and 1-1 in the conference.
