Coldwater beat Pennfield 45-28
(BATTLE CREEK) – The Coldwater football team bounced back from their first loss of the season to get an Interstate 8 road win over B.C. Pennfield 45-28. The Cardinals outgained Pennfield 426-309, with Coldwater rushing for 404 yards. Damon Beckhusen had 21 carries for 140 yards and a touchdown for the Cardinals. Matt Gipple had 12 carries for 132 yards and 2 TD's while Jaxon Janusz had 7 carries, for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was also 1 of 3 for 22 yards and scores. Dylan Targgart had 11 tackles for Coldwater and Zach Tong had 9 tackles. Coldwater improves to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the Interstate 8
