(INDIANAPOLIS) – The State of Indiana is now in Stage 5 of their re-opening plan.
Governor Eric Holcomb signed the Executive Order on Thursday, and Stage 5 started on Saturday and will last through October 17. He also said Indiana's public health emergency has been extended until November 1.
During Stage 5, Hoosiers are still required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing. In addition, size limitations will be removed for gatherings and meetings. Organizers of events with more than 500 people will need to submit a written plan to their local health department.
Indiana restaurants and bars that serve food can now open at full capacity. Appropriate social distancing will need to be maintained.
Indoor and outdoor venues can open at full capacity. Senior centers and congregate nutrition sites may re-open, according to FSSA guidance.
Personal services, gyms, fitness centers and workout facilities may resume normal operations. Also, nursing homes and assisted living facilities are required to provide visitation opportunities.
