(STURGIS) – The 2019-2020 school year starts soon in Michigan.
Sturgis Public Schools is hosting a Student Safety Seminar tonight. Safety and Security Supervisor David Northrop says the reason for the seminar is to answer parents' questions about some very important issues. LINKC.
Sessions include Ok2Say; online safety; how to set parental controls on devices; bullying; school safety; social media awareness for parents; vaping and mental health options.
While the seminar is geared for parents with students in the Sturgis School District, Northrop says people who live in other school districts are welcome to attend.
The seminar will be tonight from 6 until 8:30 PM at Sturgis High School. There is no cost to attend.
