(THREE RIVERS) – The first summer festival of 2025 gets underway today.
The 68th annual Three Rivers Water Festival begins its three day run with a theme of “Dive Into The World Of Board Games”. Several events and activities are happening today, including the Ambassador For Christ chicken & ribs BBQ is going on along with the Lions Club Ox Roast at the Lions Club, 420 6th Avenue.
The highlight of today’s activities and for the Festival, according to Three Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Christy Trammell is the Thursday night parade. LINKC.
Following the parade there will be monster truck rides in the City Parking Lots near the railroad tracks.
More events are scheduled for Friday, including the arts & crafts marketplace; the Corn Hole Tournament at 5 PM, the Soap Box Derby; the Silent Disco at 6 PM and the Carnival Midway.
