(BRONSON) – The host Bronson softball team went 2-0 at their own Polish Classic, beating Colon 14-1 and then beating No. 3 Mendon 13-6. Madison Shaw was the winning pitcher in game one, going 5 innings, giving up 1 run and striking out 8 batters. Ashlynn Harris got the win in game two, going 7 innings, giving up 6 runs and 4 strikeouts. Lydia Wells had a big day for the Lady Vikings at the plate, going 4 for 7 with a home run and 8 RBI. Ciara Blankenship was 3 for 7 with 3 RBI and a stolen base. Bronson is now 18-9 overall on the season.
