
(STURGIS) – Wednesday night, Robert Hile attended his last meeting as a Sturgis City Commissioner. 
Hile announced earlier this year that he would not seek another term on the Commission representing Precinct 4.
During the meeting, City Manager Andrew Kuk shared some information about Hile’s time on the Commission.  LINKC.
All total, Hile served 14 years as a City Commissioner, putting him in the top five of longest serving City Commissioners.
Following the meeting, Hile spoke with Swick Broadcasting and shared some of the accomplishments of the City Commission he is most proud of during his time of service. LINKD.
Former Sturgis Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Cathi Abbs has filed to run for Hile’s seat on the Commission in the November 5 General Election.
