(BRONSON) – The City of Bronson wants to look again at the possibility of allowing recreational marijuana businesses in the City limits.
During last week’s City Council meeting, Bronson Mayor Matt Watkins said that more information needs to be looked on this matter. LINKC.
Bronson City Manager Brandon Mersman did say he contacted other Branch County communities who allow marijuana businesses and asked what they use money from these operations for. LINKD.
Mersman says Union City takes the money and puts it in their General Fund.
Watkins says the discussion should be if Bronson wants to allow these kinds of businesses, which specific businesses they would like, and where they would be located.
