(LAGRANGE) – Host Lakeland was able to hold on for an NECC boys basketball win over Fremont 48-45. Brayden Bontrager led the Lakers with 19 points. Bracey Shepherd added 14 points while Braden Yoder had 7 points in the win. Ethan Bock had 14 points to lead Fremont. Gabel Pentecost added 13 points. Lakeland improves to 1-1 overall and 1-0 in the NECC. Fremont is also 1-1 and 0-1 in the conference.
