Colon beats Burr Oak via forfeit
(BURR OAK) – It was an early end to the Colon at Burr Oak 8 man football game. The Magi were up 34-0 early in the second quarter, which Burr Oak announced they were forfeiting the game due to injuries and low numbers. The Magi had 244 yards of offense when the game was called. Phillip Alva and 4 carries for 69 yards and 2 TD's. He was also 1 for 3 for 53 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Jonathan West had 2 carries for 48 yards and a score along with have a TD reception for 25 yards. Austin Stoll had a 53 yard touchdown reception for the Magi. Caiden Carver had 6 tackles Chris Frye had 3 tackles. Burr Oak's Matthew Greene was 2 for 9 for 19 yards and 2 interceptions. Jeremiah Kane had 3 carries for 7 yards. Greene and Kane each had 3 tackles. Colon is now 4-0 on the season while Burr Oak is now 2-2.
