Two more Michigan players named to watch lists

(ANN ARBOR) - Two Michigan football players are among the nation's best at their positions, and are each up for major awards for the 2019 season. Junior center Cesar Ruiz is on the watch list for the Rimington Trophy, awarded after the regular season. Senior tight end Sean McKeon is on the watch list for the Mackey Award, given to the nation's most outstanding tight end. Coming off a All-Big Ten third team season, the 6 foot 4, 319 pound Ruiz earned one of 80 spots on the watch list. A Camden, New Jersey native, Ruiz started all 13 of Michigan's games last year. McKeon hauled in 14 receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown last year, earning an All-Big Ten honorable mention nod. The Dudley, Massachusetts, native has started 16 games, making 30 appearances over his first three seasons.
