(COLDWATER) – A familiar face has been asked to temporarily take over running the Coldwater Department of Public Safety.
Deputy Director Joe Scheid has been appointed to be the Acting Director of Public Safety by city officials. He takes over for Director Mark Bartell, who retired earlier this month after serving in law enforcement for almost 40 years in Coldwater and Branch County.
