(STURGIS) – A new executive director has been hired for the Sturges-Young Civic Center and Auditorium.
Wednesday night, Sturgis City Manager Mike Hughes announced to the City Commission that a selection has been made to fill the vacant position. LINKC.
Bolda is a Michigan native who graduated from Western Michigan University and then the Savannah Georgia College of Art and Design. She recently worked for the Savannah Film Festival.
Hughes says this was a good process in finding a new executive director. He says Bolda has a passion for the arts and experience in that field which is the combitation Sturgis was looking for.
Bolda will officially begin her duties on February 18. She takes over for Brad Donmyer who retired at the end of 2018.
