Man Arrested Following Two State High Speed Chase

(NOBLE TOWNSHIP) – A high speed chase that went through two states finally ended with the arrest of the suspect.

The Branch County Sheriff's Department tried to make a traffic stop around 4 PM Saturday in the southern portion of Noble Township. The suspect drove away at speeds exceeding 100 MPH, with the pursuit going into St. Joseph County and then into LaGrange County, Indiana.

After entering LaGrange County, the suspect drove into a field. Branch County authorities watched the suspect vehicle until the driver was arrested by Indiana DNR Officers and taken to the LaGrange County Jail.

The suspect's name is being withheld pending his arraignment in Indiana. Charges are pending in Michigan. The driver is also a parole absconder out of Michigan.
