Winter Storm Warning Still In Effect

(UNDATED) – A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for today. But depending on where you live will determine how long you are under the warning.

The National Weather Service says a Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 4 PM for St. Joseph, Branch, Cass and Hillsdale Counties in Michigan, along with LaGrange, Steuben and Elkhart Counties in Indiana.

Moderate to heavy snow is expected along with winds of 15-20 MPH, and gusting as high as 30 MPH during the day. An additional 2 to 4 inches of snow accumulation is possible until early afternoon.

In Allen and DeKalb Counties in Indiana and the Northwest Counties of Ohio, a Winter Storm Waring is in effect until 7 PM Saturday. Moderate to heavy snowfall is expected in these areas with new snowfall accumulations of 3 to 5 inches is possible.

In addition to the snow, cold air will drive temperatures down for tonight and into Sunday. Lows tonight will be in the single digits with wind chills between 10 and 15 below zero. Sunday highs will be in the low teens with wind chills at 10 below zero. Sunday night, lows of 8 below zero are forecasted.
