Four People Injured In Two Vehicle Crash In Branch County

(UNION TOWNSHIP) – A Saturday afternoon crash between two vehicles injured four people in Branch County's Union Township.

Michigan State Police say a 34 year old Battle Creek woman was driving south on Burlington Road at 2 PM and ran the stop sign at the intersection of West Girard Road. Her car struck the passenger side of a westbound SUV.

The driver of the SUV was a 31 year old Kinderhook woman. She along with her front seat passenger, a 24 year old Coldwater man, and a 2 year old girl who was in an approved child safety seat, were all taken to Promedica Coldwater Regional Hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The Battle Creek woman was taken by a private vehicle to the Veterans Hospital in Battle Creek for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

Assisting troopers at the scene were the Branch County Sheriff's Department, the Union City Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance.
