(NOTTAWA TOWNSHIP) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department is investigating two early morning shed fires.
Sheriff Mark Lillywhite says at 1 AM Friday, his department was sent to the 60,000 block of Railroad Street in Nottawa Township on a report of two buildings on fire. Deputies arrived and found two sheds fully engulfed in flames. They also found a third structure with materials to start a fire, but that attempt failed.
The Centreville Fire Department and Sturgis Police Department both assisted deputies.
