(VOLINIA TOWNSHIP) – One person was injured in a two vehicle crash Tuesday in Cass County's Volinia Township.
Sheriff Richard Behnke says at 3:37 PM. 42 year old AJ High of Cassopolis was driving east on Marcellus Highway when his vehicle was struck by another automobile that was heading south on Decatur Road.
High was injured and taken to Lakeland St. Joseph Hospital. Deputies did not say if the second driver, 32 year old Eric Nshimyumukiza of Granger, Indiana, was injured or not.
Assisting deputies were the Dowagiac and Wayne Township Fire Departments, Michigan State Police and Pride Care Ambulance. The crash is still under investigation.
