City Commission Approves 2019-2020 Budget

(STURGIS) – The City of Sturgis has a budget for Fiscal Year 2019-2020.

City Manager Mike Hughes presented the budget to the City Commission during their meeting Wednesday night. During the budget work session earlier this year, there was discussion regarding the need for additional staff in specific departments. The budget reflects those positions as Hughes explains where they would be. LINKC.

The 2019-2020 budget is projected to have $50.8 million in revenues and $50.5 million in expenditures. The Commission approved the budget by a unanimous vote.
