(QUINCY) – A southern Michigan man is returning home.
Quincy Community Schools officials say the Board of Education has hired Gabe Frisbie to be their new Athletic Director and Dean of Students. Frisbie is a 2008 Mendon High School graduate where he played football and basketball for the Hornets.
After graduating from college, Frisbie got a job in education. Most recently he was the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director for Indianapolis Metropolitan High School. He also has coached at the college level.
Quincy School officials say Frisbie will be taking over for Sherri Hildenbrand. She is retiring as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director. Hildenbrand served the Quincy School District for 29 years. Her last day will be August 30.
