(BRONSON) – It's going to be a busy Saturday in Bronson as the 50th annual Polish Festival continues.
Activities include a pancake and sausage breakfast until 11 AM; the 5K race and walk; the co-ed softball tournament at Kiwanis Park; the annual Car Show at Bronson Strike Zone until 1 PM; a sand volleyball tournament also at Bronson Strike Zone and the men's softball tournament at Greenwald Park.
The Scrappy Quilters Quilt Show will be at the First Congregational Church until 4 PM, and the Knights of Columbus Ox Roast will be until 3 PM.
At 1 PM is the parade through downtown Bronson. Immediately following the parade will be the fire truck pull in front of the fire station, along with the Chicago Highlander Group performing downtown under the tent.
From 2 until 10 PM, you can play Bingo in the basement of the American Legion. Also at 2 PM is the Polish Scotch Doubles bowling tournament at Bronson Strike zone.
Starting at 4 PM will be the Polka Mass at St. Mary's Church. Then at 6 PM in the St. Mary's Gym will be the Polka Dinner and Dance, featuring the Duane Malinowski Band. There will also be a 50-50 raffle, the Polka In Their Shoes event and the big money drawing. Tickets for the dinner are just $10 per person.
Also at 6 PM the Bronson Athletic Boosters truck pulls will get underway. At 9:30 PM the band Sierra Shame will be performing at Bronson Strike Zone.
